Azure Specialization
Partners specializing in one or more Azure workloads receive discounts on some consumption line items based on their specialization. For more details on Azure Specialization program see https://www.microsoft.com/azure/partners/azure-advanced-specializations
When configuring Partner Center integration, one of the options on the connector configuration page is Azure specializations. This article describes the options available under this setting and the impact this will have on Azure Billing within Work 365.
There are three options available under this setting.
S.no | Option | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | We don't have Azure Specialization | Select when Azure Specialization is not available |
2 | Pass specialization discounts to Customer | Markup is applied to the discounted cost of the specialization line item. |
3 | Retain specialization discounts as Margin | Markup is applied to the non-discounted cost of the specialization line item. |
Only select option 2 and option 3 when certain of Azure Specialization. Selecting this when not having Azure Specialization can cause unexpected consumption billing.
