Linked Subscription Provider

Special Provider

Linked Subscription Provider is a special Provider

This provider can be utilized effectively in scenarios where a change in quantity for one subscription needs to automatically reflect in another linked subscription. A common use case involves organizations such as hotel chains, where subscriptions are managed at both the location and parent levels.

For instance, consider a hotel chain that has a primary subscription with 100 E3 seats, which are distributed across five individual locations. Each location operates with its own linked subscription, enabling decentralized management of quantities. When a quantity is modified at the location level—such as increasing or decreasing the number of seats assigned to a specific hotel—the linked subscription updates the corresponding quantity in the parent subscription.

This process ensures that the parent subscription reflects the overall changes in real-time, while the provisioning adjustments are handled seamlessly through the provider. Consequently, billing remains precise at the location level, allowing for detailed financial tracking and accountability, while provisioning continues to be centrally managed at the parent level. This streamlined approach offers a balance between localized flexibility and centralized control, ensuring efficient subscription management across multi-location organizations.
